Texas Soberfest Chooses Cartis Group to Expand Its Reach
Texas Soberfest, an annual music festival and celebration sponsored by the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Council of Austin, announced that it has chosen Cartis Group to head up its marketing, advertising and public relations efforts.
The move solidifies the desire by the Council to broaden the reaches of the festival throughout the state. Event coordinator, Dana Mohr, says the move to team up with an agency was the best move the Council could make.
“We needed to bring in the experts,” Mohr said. “Cartis Group showed amazing talent, awesome creative and strategic management. We couldn’t have dreamed of anything better.”
Cartis Group president, Shannon Carter, said the partnership between his agency and the Council is beneficial for everyone involved.
“We feel very lucky to be part of such a great event [Texas Soberfest],” Carter said. “This is only the second year and we are going to more than double last year’s attendance.”
